I received my order of OPI Gelcolor yesterday! All I can say is...I'm in love!!!
OPI Gelcolor The Sirens Collection includes Cosmo Not Tonight Honey, A Good Man-darin Is Hard To Find, Big Apple Red, Malaga Wine, Bogota Blackberry and Bastille My Heart.
OPI Gelcolor The Beautifuls Collection includes Alpine Snow, Samoan Sand, Pompeii Purple, My Private Jet, Miami Beet and Louvre Me Louvre Me Not.
*Oops, I put the Samoan Sand and Cosmo Not Tonight Honey in the wrong pics. Sorry for the confusion.
The consistency is amazing! It is thinner then CND Shellac, but thicker then Harmony Gelish. When applying it goes on extremely smooth. I really like the brush! The brush seems to be shorter and firmer then most gel polish color brushes. Last, but not least it can be cured using an LED light!
LED = Base Coat - 30 seconds, Color Coat - 30 seconds, Top Coat - 30 seconds
UV = Base Coat - 1 minute, Color Coat - 2 minutes, Top Coat - 3 minutes
My favorite thing about the OPI Gelcolor.....No Wrinkles!! I have not had a single wrinkle after curing it. You do not have to apply it in extremely thin layers to avoid wrinkling as you do with some other brands. Also, I am so excited to have Alpine Snow for French Manicures again! Since almost all of my clients only use gel polish I am thrilled to have my favorite French color in a gel polish!

I found a great video that completely covers the OPI Gelcolor Polymer Chemistry, LED Light and Application.
Here is another video showing the removal process.
The only con that OPI Gelcolor has for me is the removal time for natural nails. After wrapping nails with foil and cotton saturated with OPI Expert Touch Lacquer Remover you have to wait 15 minutes. Lucky for me I do mostly enhancements, so I will use my e-file to remove the gel color. I will keep you updated as to how long the actual removal time is on natural nails as soon as I do one.
I have only used the OPI Gelcolor for one day, but I think it is my new favorite!
